Yandex Market says hires IKEA’s former managers team

MOSCOW, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- Russian marketplace Yandex Market has hired a team of specialists from IKEA, which earlier withdrew from the country, and plans to offer ready-made interior solutions, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Tuesday.

“Market was joined by a team of managers and specialists from IKEA. Alla Kotyuga, who earlier managed IKEA’s procurement business in Russia, will head the professionals of design, technologies, quality control, and interaction with Russian and foreign producers,” the spokesperson said.

The marketplace will also expand its assortment and the number of partners, offer new solutions for packaging and carriage of large-size items.

Yandex Market in early August 2022 opened a special section of IKEA goods and their analogues.
